Eligibility for Returns

Standard Return Requirements

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

a. Time Limit: You must initiate the return request within 7 days of receiving delivery of your pet product.

Note: Pet toys from DH Variety will not be accepted for return or dispute if they are broken after use by pets.

b. Product Condition: The product must be:

  • Unused by you or your pet
  • Clean and in the same condition as received
  • Free from pet hair, odors, or any signs of pet contact

c. Original Packaging: The product must be returned in its original packaging with:

  • All accessories and components included
  • Original tags and labels attached
  • Product manuals or care instructions
  • Any included samples or promotional items

Pet Product Specific Requirements

Pet Food & Treats

  • Must be unopened with intact seals
  • Expiration dates must be clearly visible
  • No returns on opened food items (except for defective products)

Pet Toys & Accessories

  • Must show no signs of chewing, scratching, or pet use
  • Original packaging and tags must be intact
  • Safety seals (where applicable) must be unbroken

Pet Clothing & Collars

  • Must be unworn with all tags attached
  • No pet hair, odors, or sizing adjustments
  • Original packaging required

Important Note: Acceptance or rejection of a return or refund request is based on our assessment of product condition and compliance with our pet safety and hygiene standards.

Return Process

Step 2: Provide Return Information

When contacting us, please include:

  • Your order number
  • Product name and item number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos of the product (if applicable)
  • Details about your pet (breed, size, age) if relevant to the return

Step 3: Return Authorization

Once your return request is reviewed and approved, we will provide you with:

  • Return merchandise authorization (RMA) number
  • Return shipping instructions and address
  • Specific packaging requirements for pet products

Important: The cost of return shipping will be borne by you, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Refunds

Refund Approval Process

  • Inspection: Once we receive and inspect the returned pet product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request
  • Criteria: Products that do not meet our return eligibility criteria or show signs of pet use may be rejected
  • Pet Safety: Returns may be rejected if products pose potential health risks to other pets

  • Processing: If your return is approved, a refund will be processed within 14 days from the date of approval
  • Payment Method: The refund will be credited to your original payment method

Refund Amount

  • Standard Returns: Original purchase price minus original shipping costs
  • Defective Items: Full purchase price plus original shipping costs
  • Our Error: Full refund, including all shipping costs

Non-Refundable Items

The following pet products are not eligible for return or refund:

Health & Hygiene Reasons

  • Opened pet food, treats, or supplements
  • Used pet toys that have been in contact with pets
  • Pet grooming products that have been opened or used
  • Any products that have come into contact with pet saliva, fur, or bodily fluids

Customization & Special Orders

  • Personalized pet tags, collars, or accessories
  • Custom-made pet furniture or bedding
  • Special-order items made specifically for your pet

Time-Sensitive Items

  • Products returned after the 7-day window
  • Expired pet food or treats
  • Seasonal items returned after 30 days

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective pet product:

Immediate Action Required

  • Notification Time: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Pet Safety: If the defect poses a risk to your pet, discontinue use immediately
  • Documentation: Take photos of the damage or defect

Our Response

  • We will provide a replacement or full refund after verification
  • Return shipping will be covered by DH Variety
  • Expedited processing for items that may affect pet health or safety

  • We will provide a full refund regardless of whether the product was opened

Size Issues for Pet Products

  • Size exchanges available within 7 days for unused items
  • Original packaging and tags must be intact
  • Customer responsible for return shipping costs
  • We'll cover shipping costs for the replacement item
